To strengthen the data team, we are looking for a data engineer with strong analytical skills. As a data engineer you will transform data into a useful format for analysis and will tackle complex technological projects.
Responsibilities
- You like to go end-2-end from requirements gathering, over analysis till the implementation
- You describe and document the needed solution (estimations, modelling,…)
- Develop and deliver the projects within time, scope and budget
- Validate together with your process owners the solutions you have build
- You are open for change and like to challenge the current solution and suggest possible improvements
Requirements
Master Degree within IT/Business and Information Systems Engineering Or clearly demonstrable skills as a Data Engineer / Analyst within the domain of data intelligence
Experience
- Proven experience (+3 years)
- DBT & Snowflake
- Hands-on Experience in complex analysis and building data pipelines to integrate multiple data sources into data solutions
- Experience in DWH and architecture assets, on premise as within the cloud
- The ability to model data solutions (Kimball, DataVault,…)
- Solid programming skills with ETL and reporting tools as well as Python/SQL querying;
- Familiar with CI-CD tool is a plus

- Azure Cloud : CI/CD, Datalake, Eventhub, ….
- SQL
- Python
- Fluent knowledge of Dutch and English is required, both verbal and written
