We are looking for a Medior/Senior Data/DevOps Engineer for an exciting greenfield project.
You can work either at our client’s location in Brussels or from our HQ in Herentals.
You will be responsible for setting up a scalable and flexible data infrastructure. We are seeking someone with expertise in both data engineering and DevOps principles, capable of designing the technical architecture and integrating systems effectively.
As a Data Engineer/DevOps Specialist, your responsibilities will include the development, implementation, and optimization of data pipelines and infrastructure. You will unlock and integrate various datasets from diverse sources into the data environment.
YOUR SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with databases such as MariaDB (experience with JSON is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with DBT for building and maintaining data pipelines.
- Knowledge of Dagster for workflow and orchestration management.
- Experience in DevOps for infrastructure setup, preferably using Docker.
- Familiarity with Logstash and the ELK stack to process logs from source systems.
- Understanding of Medallion architecture for data layers.
- Language skills: Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Experience with Ansible, CI/CD, and GitHub Actions.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Power BI for reporting.
- Experience with Event Driven Data.
Location: Brussels or Herentals. 2 days onsite, 3 days remote is possible.
